I am a senior at LHS, my experience with the 2 years of being a scholar is; the teaching is amazing depending on the teachers. There is definitely racism lingering around, teachers go around insulting kids. We're told to ignore them while if a student tries to defend themselves its "3 or more days of ISS" .. By far its cool

As a whole Longview High schools is not a private school it's like every other public high school. The food could be better as well as the facility's minor details, such as the restrooms which have been my least favorite part of high school as a young woman who I believe have more needs for the restroom at times more than guys it would be nice to have more that 1-2 restrooms available while the young men have more than that. The conditions of them aren't the best either.

Longview Highschool has had an impact in my life, providing amazing teachers in all my years allowing me to be set for success. Although the dress code can be quite strict, I love how I was allowed to find other ways to express myself while attending. If I could see change, I would love to see more teachers and students use their voice to lead Longview Highschool to a safer and better environment.

Longview ISD has the best educational offerings in East Texas. I choose to send my three children to the district, and there are many choices in the area. I recommend the school district to anyone moving to the area or looking for a challenging curriculum.
