My high school experience has been very diverse. I started school hating attending my classes because they were to easy and had no one holding me accountable. Skipping classes was easy to do but once I joined the AVID program my experience changed dramatically. I now take college classes in my high school to push my self and I have my AVID teacher there to guide and hold me accountable. I wish to see school counselors and principals more involved in students life's. I also wish information about classes and scholarships would be communicated on more where everyone is aware of which classes is best to take depending on your career path and when scholarships are open to be applied for. Overall my experience at mark morris is what I make of it. I had to advocate for myself and change the course of my high school life.

My experience at Mark Morris was pretty good but could have been better. Some positives about this school is they do a good job of teaching you the things you need to learn as well as having some pretty dedicated teachers in the building. Some negatives are that they don't really prepare you for college and I felt like throughout my four years a lot of time was wasted doing non-school related activities.

Two of my children attended MMHS. Both had positive experiences. Highly qualified and motivated staff. Overall strong sports and music programs. Class work is rigorous.Stats are skewed on this page because many students opt to do Running Start next door at the community college. This makes it tough...

My daughter attends Mark Morris and has had many opportunities to grow. Most uniquely, they offer AP class as well as the ability to conveniently take classes at the local community college next door. Most advanced students choose the latter, which is what skews stats on this page. This is a great s...
