I like Lawrence County High School because of how small it is and mostly everyone knows each other. It's nice to be in the same school with kids you grew up with. Most of the teachers are also very nice and respectable. They teach us well but can also help us with any other troubles we are having. If there was something I would change about Lawrence County High School, it would be for more money to be invested in the Music/Band section. The Band especially needs more funds.

Growing up in a small town has its advantages and disadvantages; however, Lawrence County highschool has done an excellent job bringing out the best parts of being from a small town. They also have provided great resources that allow students to get out into their community and even experience life in bigger cities. I have had the opportunity to take numerous AP and dual credit classes to prepare me for my secondary education.

Esp., if they are sports oriented, as Lawrence County, KY is totally sports crazed! It is SPORTS before anything and everything else! Lawrence County KY has a...

I graduated from LCHS my child attends LCHS. She is in AP classes and her test scores are above average. We have had great experiences here. The staff and board are not perfect but love our kids and do their best. The school and community are like family.
