GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Through out my time at Lowell High School I have learned a lot of independence. The school has high expectations but low resources to reach them. I have a few teachers that are very supportive in your journeys and others that barely care. I would like to see an overall shift to the students future and not so much the nitty gritty.

Lowell Senior High has a bunch of opportunities for kids to prepare for the future whether it's college, trades, or business opportunities and the sports are improving with the addition of the strength coach of which allows the kids to challenge themself to push and push to prepare their mental toughness.

Lowell High School is definitely a great and small school. However, there is little diversity or ways for students to flourish in new ways. One must work very hard to pursue clubs, organizations, or information on special interests. I would love to see administration work harder to get to know and build relationships with students.

I am currently a sophomore at this sad excuse for an educational facility. I have been in the Lowell school district for my entire life, and ever since I got into high school, everything became statistical, not about actually learning. No matter how often the facilitators say they care about the stu...
