Loyola Academy is a great school full of many great teachers and students. The school is very diverse with students coming across the Chicago area with different backgrounds. I truly admire the school what I admire best is the school being available to help students with everything. Going aside from what I admire best what I do not admire too much from my experience is students won't always have a chance to meet their other peers what I would like to see change is having opportunities to get students from each year to know each other.

I have a Sophmore and a rising Freshman. I plan to send all of my 5 children to Loyola Academy. As someone who attended public highschool, I recognize the difference of a Jesuit education. Loyola Academy is a place that puts service (men and women for others) as their central focus. My son is involved in the crew team and model UN club. The opportunities at Loyola are endless, and any student will find their place here. I am truly greatful my family found Loyola Academy.

The best part about my current high school is the amount of resources given. Since it is private, there's a tuition fee every year, so receiving these sources is fair for the price we pay. I would say because the school is located in a higher-tax area, the students have a different culture when the financial aspect of things they don't have to worry about. As someone with financial need, it's been hard to click with other students.

This school is not for everyone so I understand some of the negative reviews. If your child is competitive, smart, and willing to work hard you won’t find a better school. Yes, sports are a big thing here but there are lots of alternatives. The greatest feature is the faculty which consists of peopl...

I don't deny the many great teachers and qualities of this school, but our experience at Loyola was abysmal. As a freshman, our son was lost academically, had a GPA in the 1.00s, got into trouble with deans three times over petty things (molehills that they trumped up into mountains), and was forced...

This school is more than happy to take the now near $75,000 from families for four years of an average education which can be comparably found at many good public schools. They seem to emphasize and celebrate their athletes, and even with poor/average grades those are the students that are accepted...
