Lubbock-Cooper School District has been my home for 13 years. I have always been so nervous about going to school but I have had so many amazing memories here. I have spent so much time here and met so many people who are so important to me. Most of the people, such as teachers, students, and administration, are supportive and friendly. Lubbock-Cooper is very well taken care of and I am so lucky to be able to be able to be part of this amazing facility. The sports are great here and there is a lot of success. Most of the teachers are very dedicated to their students and want to help them succeed. The only thing that I don't like about our school is the way absences work. Even if you have an excused absence it counts against you and it is very frustrating. That is the only thing I would change.

Throughout my time at Lubbock Cooper High School I have been impressed with the overall atmosphere. The teachers seem to always want to be there making for a great learning environment. The culture at Lubbock Cooper is seemingly unbeatable.

Overall it's gone well. Would recommend to someone coming to area for a certain type of kiddo, such as an athlete more so than a STEM focused child. Culture is not super diverse, seems fairly conservative for the most part. School is safe and facilities are nice and new.

This is an amazing school, but for the love of God, do NOT let your student take choir. My child took it and came home crying everyday because of how awful the choir program is. Please for your sanity as well as your children's, don't let them sign up.

I moved here hoping my child would have a great experience and a chance to continue playing football (since he already played at his previous school and was set to play on Varsity his Sophomore year. Unless your kid grew up in the district, don’t expect them to get to play on the football team reall...
