All staff in the special education department are very rude & were not very welcoming to substitute teachers. Now i understand why they say no subs ever come out there. The staff were rough with the kids. You all have lost help. Im never coming back to this school. - Emily Smith

We had to move because of my husband;s job while my daughter was in first grade. She has a lot of health problems and missed a lot of school but her teacher did a great job. She is doing really good at her new school because of Herty. If we move back to Lufkin, she and my son will go back to Herty b...
