Patuxent high school is an amazing school to be at. I feel very comfortable and loved and safe. The sports here are amazing. They are well connected to the school. The culture is great. The Coaches have much knowledge of what they are doing. The teachers are very helpful and nice. There are many opportunities to get help if you need help. overall, my experience has been great. I stay out of trouble and do my work when it needs to be done. Pawtucket high school is an amazing school. I love it here.

I transferred into Patuxent during my Junior year and the sense of community at Pax is unlike anywhere else. Joining clubs and activities is always encouraged and fun. I was a Pax cheerleader for my junior and senior year and it was a great experience. The teachers and administrators at Pax work their hardest to help all the students there.

I currently attend Patuxent and I love it! I think most do and we are really a family. Our school is smaller so it is easier for us to have fun activities and we have great school spirit. All of my teachers have always been very good at their jobs and overall school is a good experience.

While there are many good teachers at this school, there are quite a few that demean students. The Vice Principal disregards parents/students concerns to gain whatever little acceptance he can get from teachers. During our initial interaction, I felt as if I was speaking to a brick wall. My experience at patuxent was beyond bad. Through the bullying and the teachers constantly nit picking at me it caused many issues. They do not care for any of the students as long as they get paid it doesn't matter.

This school was fabulous. A really family feel that provided more than an education, but an upbringing in character and success.

Patuxent High School is a good school, but I several complaints. I know a few of the teachers and they are dedicated to their students, however, it bothers me that no matter how dedicated and caring the teacher is, too many students simply do not care what their grades are. One teacher in particular...
