As one of the most prestigious and highly rated private schools in the Holly Springs and Woodstock areas, Lyndon Academy is an ideal and comprehensive schooling option that serves students from prekindergarten through 12th grade.
Founded in 2005 by Linda Murdock, the school started in a renovated daycare building with a rotating classroom system. Lyndon earned official accreditation in 2007 and moved to a brand new facility in 2016, and each year a new grade was added until finally grades K-12 were covered by Lyndon's enhanced college-preparatory curriculum.
In addition to a rigorous curriculum that includes several advanced courses and daily foreign language instruction in Mandarin and Spanish, Lyndon offers clubs and cocurricular activities in band, business, military history, drama, yearbook and Model United Nations. Lyndon also provides several extracurricular activities that are designed to help students become well-rounded young adults ready to tackle the challenges of college life.
Highlights from the school’s athletics program include volleyball, cross country, basketball and golf teams, just to name a few. Lyndon also conducts a variety of sports, science and music clinics and camps throughout the year, available to both students and parents. Under the banner of their Terrier mascot, students at Lyndon Academy work to build the physical strength to match their powerful minds.

Lower school is great. Lack of management is causing huge issues in upper school. Bullying is rampant. Teachers aren't certified. AP offerings are weak and teachers are not getting students through AP exams. Police involved with bullying complaints they are so bad.
