GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Harlem High school has been a great experience for me. There are so many opportunities for new things and meeting new people. There are many chances to be involved and help out school become a better community. They have so many classes for many different pathways so everybody has plenty of options to prepare us for our career. School spirit is definitely someone our school takes a lot of pride in and I think it is very cool to see how much everyone enjoys school events. Over the last four years I have grown so much as a person and a student. I have met so many new friends and I can not wait to graduate with them all.

The best part about the Harlem High School experience is that if you take harder classes like honors or AP, you are usually in a class with other people that want to learn, which is a lot more fun than in a normal class. The worst part about Harlem High School is that the majority of the people that go there aren't focused on learning. This is evident when you go into any bathroom and you will always find at least one person vaping.

The best parts of my experience were football games, spirit weeks, clubs and school dances. I would like to see more diversity in staff and more equality events at school to make everyone feel more welcome.
