As a student of the arts, I have found that my school consistently pushes us to the bottom of the priority pile. My teachers are helpful but overall have not supplied me with nearly enough college readiness or encouragement. Most of my college searching has been done on my own time. Also, there isn't at all a great community within my school with many groups I have observed being far from diverse. The food is great though.

Happy to see other people find Harlem appealing. This school sucks, you find racism and sexism behind every corner and most admins just turn the other way and ignore you. Many of my friends have been harassed by older students and admin has done absolutely nothing. Thriving is not the word I would use to describe this school.

The best part at Harlem is that there are teachers I can connect with and go to if I need any help. While the worst part about harlem is the constant changes that happen each year that kinda don't benefit us in any way

8/10. I have attended this school for two years and my experience has been great! But I think that is mainly due to the fact that I try hard and participate in extracurricular activities.

You get what you put into it. If you don't work, then you only have yourself to blame. There are some great teachers that provide amazing opportunities, but the administration needs to listen to some of the teachers. The teachers know more than them about running things. The administration makes hor...

Great school for academic students, student athletes who go to this school deserve better coaching than what they have now, some of this coaches don't care about the kids talents or feelings. This is why this teams can never win the big games, to many politics on who plays. Unless you're friends wit...

I graduated from this High School in 1999...It is a great school & the teachers are wonderful. I now have friends who work there & they say it is just as wonderful working there as it was attending.
