Dakota high school had many areas they could improve on. Between needing to do better background checks on their teachers and the administrations dirty work with CLP kids, Dakota definitely is a school I wouldn't recommend in a million years.

Dakota high school had many areas they could improve on. Between needing to do better background checks on their teachers and the administrations dirty work with CLP kids, Dakota definitely is a school I wouldn't recommend in a million years. The school was literally known for the musical theatre groups multiple concerning allegations, INCLUDING the teacher!! (Which still to this day is the schools dance choreographer)

I really enjoy being at this because the teachers are really kind and supportive and also the other staff and administration. Dakota offers a wide variety of classes such an dual enrollment, cte, accelerated maths, and advanced placement courses. As for clubs I don't know much because I haven't really joined many but only a few kids really join them. However I think the environment itself can be terribly overwhelming because it feels humid and hot most of the time.

Overall, the school has great staff, great athletics but just too many students to be excellent . Covid caused online learning which was a tough tra...

There is a culture of disrespect at this school, from the administrators to the teachers to the parents and kids. The school and classes are crowded. Many tout the athletics at this school, but unless your child is an exceptional athlete and willing to stick to one sport year round, he/she will not...
