The scoring may be high, but the way these kids are treated is unacceptable. I learned that when the Super pays a visit, they ironically have all of the "troubled" students outside for a special recess. Communication is horrible. Very Positive. Carter has provided a good learning environment for my grandson. Carter has been firm but fair in dealing with students. Many students at Carter lack male role models in the home.

We have two kids at this school and love it. The teachers are so dedicated and motivated, the staff is friendly and organized, and the PTO is very active. The learning environment is very colorful with lots of artwork painted on the walls.

The teachers at Sonny Carter are wonderful. We moved to this school in 3rd grade and we were reading at a first grade level.
