My overall experience with Southwest High School is a good experience. The best parts of my years at southwest high school are most definitely the pep rally's, homecoming, and prom. The worst parts are whenever students get to fighting since EVERYONE has to suffer and when we go on lockdown since not everyone is where they are supposed to be. I would like to see the participation and the schools academic rate change since the students there does not take it seriously.

It was more about attendance than your actual grade. You could be the best student with the best grade in the class yet if your attendance wasn't up to par or their standards you would automatically fail that class. Besides that my high school experience was okay. Enjoyed the silly times I had with my friends.

I love southwest the teachers actually try and help you succeed rather than letting you fail. Some parents are actively involved with the child's education. Now as for the food it is horrible I hate it.

went to this school back in the 70's 9th and 10th before moving to florida and back then it was a good school..Don't know about now..
