I think that DHHS is a great school and I am very lucky to be able to go to a school like Daniel Hand. It has great teachers and it is a National Blue Ribbon School. Who doesn't want that? I always feel safe at DHHS and I always come in ready to learn and tackle the challenges that DHHS throws at me. I love it here!

All the staff: administrative, janitors, teachers, and coaches, are all caring and want the students to be successful. They are understanding and are genuine people. They want to get to know you as a person and want you to grow as a person before heading off into college. The school is clean, the hallways are never crowded, and the food is good.

There are more kids on the High honor roll than kids who are not. So many kids go through the school days watching netflix and youtube on their phones. No one seems to care about bullying. Everyone cares about sports. Music program keep getting cut. Teachers are moved around and many are not even in...

I'm a student at Hand. The school is good and there are plenty of opportunities to push yourself both academically and athletically. However, teachers don't usually tend to the capacities of individual students and instead treat their student bodies as a whole.
