Out of all the schools my son has attended, Seabury was the best. He says the teachers greatly influenced his desire to learn and his ability to retain knowledge. He feels that he will be overprepared for his undergraduate studies.

As a parent and alum of Seabury Hall, I am proud to be part of this school community. Students are cared for by talented faculty & staff, challenged by a full catalog of courses, and engaged in robust programs in athletics, arts, and leadership. I really love the opportunities for off-campus learning, such as Winterim and community service. My kids have made friends with kids from diverse backgrounds and communities from across Maui.

The best part is Seabury Hall is the work ethic that is taught there, you are constantly given work to do and it is your job to manage your time to complete your work.

Unhealthy environment. Extremely cliquey. Many very wealthy families whose children have no understanding of boundaries (drugs and alcohol are problems). I do not believe that Seabury is a good school for several reasons. My daughter decided to transfer to another school, and the change has been remarkable. She used to struggle with math and often found it very challenging. However, her new teacher is fantastic, and she actually enjoys math now. Addi...

I was an educator at this school; I would not suggest it for your students, especially if they are female or if they are non-white. The school caters very much to anglo-students, and the current admin does not seem to try in any way to diversify the staff (despite being in a very diverse location)....

Horrible school. Drugs are rampant. Students are all in insular cliques based on their parents money. I wouldn’t put my kids back in that school if it were free and the only school on the planet.
