Absolutely SUCKED when I was there in like...? 5th grade? Kids smoked and did drugs in the bathrooms and there was a ton of bad people. Teachers were Eh... I liked a few, I don't really remember much or their names since it's been a few years. I moved schools in 6th grade because of the students. I'm currently a Junior in Highschool.

My child was referred to the 6th grade counselor by a teacher under concerns of depression. This counselor, instead of addressing the psychological needs of my child and contacting me with a referral for a therapist, took the opportunity to preach to my child about God. I'm in my last year at Asa Low, and the school is good in terms of education. I am enrolled in pre-AP classes. They're fairly challenging and keep me engaged. My teachers have overall been average, although my 5th grade science teacher went above and beyond for her students.

So far so good. No complaints. My kid is learning and doing well. Although its only the first six weeks. Will need to review again at the end of year. My kid is in 5th grade so will attend this school again next year.

This is a 5th & 6th grade only school, which cuts down on bullying. There is no program for gifted students.
