My child just finished 5th grade here and we are leaving MISD because of it. There is a certain level of responsibility put on the kids that is completely unfair. Donna Shepard IS is in the midst of growing a transformative culture of student leaders as well as building a positive environment for children to learn and grow. I couldn't be more proud of our time at DSIS, and I look forward to my younger children experiencing the same as my daughter has.

Moving up to 5th grade was scary for me as a mom, but I was very pleased with the staff and DSIS. They went out of their way to communicate to me and help my daughters navigate changing classes, keeping up with homework, etc.
