I think Tahoma High school is a pretty good school but I'm not fond of the 'no extra credit' policy most teachers have.

As much as I appreciate this school for getting me to this point in my life I think students are poorly managed and that the school gives predators and bullies too much grace.

I loved that there was so much to do at Tahoma, there are so many clubs to choose from and you could even easily create your own if you wanted to. However, I didn't like that there is such a focus on knowing exactly what you want to do later in life that it stresses out the students and can make the school's academics seem way more daunting. It is a more challenging school so many students give up because it seems to daunting.

As a student this school doesnt care about its kids, nor does it listen to them. during the pandemic and online learning everyone is either staying up until three am or are failing.

Our experience has been mostly positive. The challenging aspects related to individual accelerated learning plans when attempting to work through guidance counselors. Positive results only occurred after getting department heads involved.

The new 10-10 rule not allowing kids to go to the bathroom. Kids don't go during passing time because they don't want to be marked late and have...

Horrible. They started going through kids backpacks and phones over a rumor, multiple kids getting in huge fights some going to the hospital, and a huge drug problem in the school. Would not recommend AT ALL
