GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's pretty great but it depends on what you want to do there. The extracurricular activities have a lot of really good programs but I have heard many complaints about academics. I don't know how much of that is due to the specific school or just that there are bad (and good) teachers everywhere.

Tahoma Senior High definitely prepares you for life after high school with their Future Ready department and STEP program that is a requirement for graduation. Teachers are very good for the most part and are easy to talk to to.

Tahoma High School is a great school for those who want to excel academically. The AP and honors program are taught by dedicated teachers who want their students to not only do well on AP tests or exams but to actually learn the material. These programs within the school very much prepare one for the rigorous college life and curriculum. So overall I would highly recommend this school for quality learning and teaching.

As a student this school doesnt care about its kids, nor does it listen to them. during the pandemic and online learning everyone is either staying up until three am or are failing.

Our experience has been mostly positive. The challenging aspects related to individual accelerated learning plans when attempting to work through guidance counselors. Positive results only occurred after getting department heads involved.

Pretty poor. Kids get in fights in the bathroom. Fire alarms going off in the bathroom because kids are vaping, taking away from what could be useful time. The new 10-10 rule not allowing kids to go to the bathroom. Kids don't go during passing time because they don't want to be marked late and have...

Horrible. They started going through kids backpacks and phones over a rumor, multiple kids getting in huge fights some going to the hospital, and a huge drug problem in the school. Would not recommend AT ALL
