I originally lived in North Fort Worth Texas for most of my life before moving to Marcus. The socioeconomic differences between the two areas were a drastic change to adjust to. With that, I feel as if a sense of privilege among many students at Marcus creates a sense of tone-deafness from the rest of the world. I don't think that it is a direct problem of the school; however, there is little being done to foster a culture of empathic students. The teaching is for the most part exceptional. I feel like I am receiving a well-rounded education, my teachers are very enthusiastic about their jobs and very approachable to ask questions and explore the nuances of each subject. Though I have not an experience with a subpar teacher at Marcus, I know that cannot be said for everybody. The admin, from the students perspective are strong leadership, I know that many teachers are unhappy with decisions made by some admin and wish that there classes were not interrupted class meetings.

Overall marcus high school is a great school. I have had many ups and downs here but in the end I've made it through all of it. This school has a great environment and faculty. All the sports teams and clubs support each other to the fullest. I believe that this is a great place to find friends and feel included. Marcus high school is a very diverse school and try's there best to include everyone. In the end the only things I would like to change is the main campus need to be upgraded and the inside classrooms should have windows.

Overall, Marcus High School has been a great school for me. For the past 2 and a half years, I feel like I have learned a lot and made a lot of friends. The best part of my experience here is probably the academics; I feel like most of the teacher I have had are kind and effective teachers. Marcus is a great high school to get prepared for a successful future. One thing I would like to see improve is the opportunity for more clubs and community events.

My opinion about bullying is not permissible here. All I can say is as an elder we handled it did not require school intervention if a person got bullied our siblings would handle it forthwith
