I would say that being a student at MCHS has well-prepared me for my future, given me many friends in different cliques and interests, and overall given me a memorable and benevolent high school life.

School has some good teachers, administration, and some good clubs. But some of the other teachers don't help you if your struggling even if you ask them repeatedly they hand you a book and expect you to be able to ace a test the next day without examples or help.

Marengo High school is a smaller school in rural Illinois. This provides students with more personalized academics, however sometimes leads to limited involvement opportunities. Overall my experience with MCHs has been more positive than negative though.

There are many policies at this school that are frustrating. First there are not a wide variety of classes offered, and then on top of that students are not allowed to change a class, even well in advance before the start of the semester.
