I would say that being a student at MCHS has well-prepared me for my future, given me many friends in different cliques and interests, and overall given me a memorable and benevolent high school life.

My experience may have been negatively affected with COVID (both academically + socially), but I don't really have problems with the school in general. I did question how the admin went about things sometimes, though. As a former band kid I would've loved to see the program grow more and I would've liked if the student body started respecting them. For a school of its size, the class options weren't that bad, though we usually looked sad compared to the (huge) surrounding schools, but I digress. There were lots of options for those into agriculture or business. There was only one foreign language option here tho, which is a bit disappointing, but most of the teachers I had overall were great and easy to work with. I can only think of one teacher I didn't care for. However, the school culture does heavily revolve around sports, in the typical American high school fashion, and most of these kids grew up with each other while attending one of three feeder schools so it's very cliquey :\\

While the education I received from most of the teachers at MCHS was amazing, some of the teachers blatantly show favoritism. There were always good opportunities for seniors and the school provides resources for everyone if need be. I overall enjoyed being at MCHS, but sometimes the way things would be done was questionable.

There are many policies at this school that are frustrating. First there are not a wide variety of classes offered, and then on top of that students are not allowed to change a class, even well in advance before the start of the semester. For example, the students pick their classes almost a year In...
