The best part of the experience has been the ease of transition from another school. Livy has been very well supported. I wish there were a few more opportunities for college credits but other than that she has been successful academically.

This school is part of my family, this school is my family. My great-grandfather went here as the part of the Class of 1939. My parents both went here. Although, Margaretville is small it is mighty. It is special. My parents went around the world before they came back to the town they grew up in to raise me. After I finish college and medical school, who knows perhaps I will do the same. There is something about living in a small town, that gives you a sense of unity with the community. A sense of love, respect and compassion, that you do not traditionally see in suburban and urban areas.

The best part of the school is the New Gym. We also have great tennis courts and soccer fields. However, lab space is inadequate in my opinion in the High school area. The stage needs repairing in the auditorium

Don't bother moving into this school district, there is a very small-town vibe (not in the good way) and outsiders stay outsiders. If your child isn't someone's favorite or at least walking distance from the school, don't plan on afterschool clubs or activities being welcoming or even available. Rur...

Blaming the principal and her qualifications does not address the issue's that the public schools are facing in today's society . We need to teach our children how to deal with others and not pull out or leave the situation unless everything is exhausted. I have a child who was bullied and have only...
