I'm going to be honest: Some of these teachers weird me out every now and then. A lot of times, they act like my hat is about to fight somebody. Honestly, I hated on him while I had him, but Mr. Karnes is a W teacher. Mr. Robinson will also always be my G. They could have better food, but honestly, I tolerate it. A good thing is this school really makes me feel prepared for college. Another shoutout to Mr. Robinson for getting me ready for that WPR test.

The administration has repeatedly ignored the complaints and qualms of the student body, and the counseling department is woefully unprepared at doing their job of giving students access to the resources and classes that they require for success.

I think the school focuses too heavily on trying to meet quota for the state, and in doing so, they neglect the schedules and needs of those whom have the abilities too succeed in academics and extracurriculars. The most recent example of this was the botched switch to the block schedule, where many people, including myself, were unable to take classes that they wanted or that they needed to stand out in the world of college application.

I attended college at one of the most academically challenging schools in VA, and I was well prepared for the coursework at college. I took honors and AP courses in high school in order to get ready for college. If students atte...

Marion is a very old school and very little money has been put into upkeep. Teachers have to buy their own supplies, desks are falling apart and books are missing covers. The administration is weak and does not support the teachers. There are a few really good teachers but the overall environment is...

As a parent I would expect the Prinicalp to Pay attention when a student or students tell them something and at least show interest in it and look into it
