School district is one of the best in the area. Academics, Sports and music and Theatre are all incredible. Maroa has won state championships in football and other activities also. The bonds between students and staff are amazing. Facilities are awesome and they are building a new Jr. High also.

I like the math and science courses offered at my high school. I also like having the opportunity to take classes at Richland and its Tech Academy. There has always been a lot of focus on football in my small town; my focus has always been on my academics!

I have been in the Maroa-Forsyth School District since I was five years old. I am so thankful to have gone to the same school for my whole life. I love the small town feel of the school. Everyone knows everyone, so we all tend to support each other in every way. From Friday night football games to getting help academically, the school feels like one big family. One thing that could be changed is the emphasis put on school sports. Sometimes it feels that if you are not a school athlete, you are not of great importance. All in all, I am very happy that I have grown up in this school district.
