One of the worst schools to ever send your kid to. This school is overpopulated. This is proven by the fact they have classes that are so full that people retaking the classes may have to do it online instead. Not to mention, they ran out of food once and were no longer able to feed students. They do not handle the lunch line at all as everyone skips the line to pile into the front. If you are in the back of the line you are luck to get 10 minutes to eat on a good day. Speaking of lunch, they lowered their lunch time from 40 to 30 to give every class extra time. They may have thought of this as a good idea but seeing how they have to sometimes give out tardy passes to kids who finally get their lunch once the bell rings it does not seem like a good idea once thought out. If I had more characters I could write 6 pages about this school alone.

I was a great experience overall. I spent all 4 years there and started cheering for the l.w. Higgins cheer team in which was then called my family. I loved the overall experience and atmosphere

It's a good school. It need more electives for students to take. Some of the classrooms and bathrooms need fixing but it's good overall. The many different activities they have is nice like color guard, flag team, majorettes, dancers, cheerleaders, band, football, soccer and volleyball.

I graduated from L.W. Higgins in 2008. Not only were the teachers mostly just babysitting us but my reading comprehension level actually went down from my 10 grade year to my 12th grade. The school was more concerned with keeping us in line by having a large disciplinarian staff and strict dress cod...

My school is a very safe school. The teachers are ready to teach, They are always looking out for the students. when I go to school i am ready to learn.
