Starting Off at Marshall I'll admit it was a rough start because of the students, but as I got further into the school year and learned from different people I got better. I involved myself with more people and tried activities that I thought I might like. Once my first Freshman meeting came I found out about some of the opportunities Marshall had and I took advantage of it. Once came the second semester I had a 3.9 GPA, I was happy because I was happy with all the help I was getting from my teachers. I won't even lie I'm the type of student who when I don't have any work to do I go to sleep or I ask for more work. With Marshall they can only give me so much, I was always asking for extra activities and they gave me some credit extra credit if I helped some students. A year I won't forget, but then there's now my sophomore year. I came back and expected things to be hard but instead, I have the same problem that I had before. I'm currently getting towards my half mark, and time flys.

I feel I am very prepared for college. There are many classes that I have taken when they have said, "this is how it will be in college" or "In college you will have to do this". They have shown/told me a lot of the things I will need for college. I feel I am very prepared for the real world because there are classes that I have taken to prepare me for the real world, I have learned how to manage my money, balance a checkbook, do my taxes, how to buy a house/car, etc.

Excellent school, small enough to get private school attention for the kids. My son loved it!
