Marshall High school is a predominately white school and has a hard time having its white students create space for students of other races. It never felt very safe their were a lot if incidents where African American students were always accused of an issue that didn't even occur.

The school had many academic opportunities, including AP classes and advanced course pathways. There were few extracurriculars, but a decent amount of sports. I wish there was more emphasis placed on student support, however.

Marshall Board of Education finally voted to becomce a participating member of the Battle Creek Area Math & Science Center in spring 2014! Although there are only 4-5 spots per grade level IF a student passes high enough on their qualifying entrance testing, it's still an available opportunity for M...
