I am just starting my second semester at Westview, but I am very disappointed with the school this far. My math classes do not have enough calculators. There are ants in the cafeteria. 30 kids in a single class. And the staff/guidance counselors are very unhelpful. I will say that the school is safe, and there are some amazing teacher's here. The extracurriculars are also a plus. Clubs are a great way to make friends and enjoy some of your time at school.

The teachers are great and staff is so friendly and helpful!! They are willing to work with you on anything to help with whatever problem you may have. Sometimes the school focuses more on sports than academics but for the most part, they are very education-oriented and the faculty cares for each individual student on a very personal level, which is made easy by small class sizes.

There's always some sort of change going on with the building or the curriculum, and it has never been good for the students. The theatre is completely outdated. The program has had dressing rooms for only a year. Gym is required for most athletes, except marching band, basketball, and football. The state is doing us a disservice, and they can't make up for it.

Westview has very few things going for it. Cheerleading is one of them, but if you aren't a cheerleader or aren't related to one, then you get treated poorly by the school leadership.
