Academics are pretty strong, good diversity, but a bit lacking with AP classes, and there are no IB classes. > Would like to see more academic clubs, like MATHCOUNTS and Science Olympiad. > Strong athletics and robotics, many options. > Overall culture is fine, but students generally don't want to be there (as is the case in many places) and administration's attempts at improving culture and trying to make everyone love every minute of school don't work to well. > I would say MHS is not amazing at college readiness just by following the basic curriculum, but if you go out of your way there are options. > Great dual enrollment partnership with Lansing Community College, and they're willing to be flexible with students

Its just an average highschool in a white town. There's a pretty good robotics program and a nice amount of AP offers. Dual enrollment is free and not much else notable.

Fairly rural farm-town feel school. Pretty strong in athletics with good variety, as well as some clubs. A number of AP classes are offered. The counselors work well with the students and offer opportunities to learn about many different career paths. As with any school there's a mix of good and bad teachers, but overall they're pretty good.

The school is ok. Some legal issues going on right now that are questionable. I am only giving 3 stars, mostly due to the transportation department. Rude, lazy, incompetent people running that department. I honestly believe it is fueled by discrimination, which I assumed wouldn't be a problem in Mas...

Mason has been a great school for my children. I love their support of the Arts (their band director is great!). There are lots of electives to chose from to help make educated decisions on future career goals. Mason also has great community pride.
