Mattoon High School has teachers and administration that deeply, and genuinely care about your success. They work with you if you are struggling and make sure to give you extra help. They do their best to limit distractions and help the students who have poor attendance.

I liked Mattoon High School until the Pandemic when everyone thought things needed to change and it wasn't normal after 2019.

Very awesome vibe at MHS. The staff is lovely and is always willing to help. They help create an awesome and fulfilling learning experience.
