GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers and staff do little to nothing about bullying. Majority of them tend to just completely ignore when someone is doing something that is against the rules, the enforcement of rules and guidelines here are very poor. The mask policy was barely even enforced. The staff also don't seem to care about student's emotional wellbeing. I feel unsafe here. There are also very little clubs to choose from.

They care more about the football and volleyball team then they do the actual students. Everything is about popularity, meaning that if you're popular you can just about get away with almost anything. Also, most of the teachers don't seem to care about actually teaching students.

My experience at McMichael high school is very good, the four years I have been here I have had nothing but help from all of my teachers, some of the things that need to be changed would have to be the teachers just teaching notes the whole class period I feel like every teacher should be involved with the students and also the lunches need to be more healthy and no more processed foods.

I don't like this school honestly but I'm forced to be here and I honestly do not like this school because it's trash everywhere I go and even outside like no one really takes care of this school. I keep getting hit by balls in gym and the exercise bikes are terrible and I'm short so I can't really...

Overall well. I have loved this school and now that I am currently at a university with no student debt, I can confidently say that this school has prepared me for college.
