I'd like to take this chance to touch on a few details about my life at MISD and Maypearl High School. To do so, I'll share a small section of a speech I gave on graduation night. "[To all MISD teachers/staff] Despite the best efforts of some students to convince you otherwise, your diligence and dedication to maintaining a safe, comfortable space for us to flourish have not gone unnoticed. To all those in attendance who have, in one way or another, had a hand in shaping us into the people we are today, thank you." I truly have little else but warmth and gratitude for the teachers, staff, and students who each had their place in the small world we were all a part of.

Maypearl High School is a place people go to without much school spirit. It's low-budget and joked about internally often.

the students are pretty welcoming and it is a small school. Bullying isn't a problem. The classes are pretty okay. The teachers are mostly enjoyable

The staff is not led properly and criminal-natured activity is ignored while all leaders protect each other. We were told that the intentional danger my son was placed in at the hands of an educ...
