GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have been at May-Port CG for a whole seven years now and so much has happened. The teachers are great, they really look out for their students. They care about athletics here and put a lot of support towards student-athletes and keeping their facilities upkept. The food could be better, but how much can a school really do as small as ours. The one thing about my experience I feel that faltered is the administration, we have gone through three principals and it has not been the same since the first retired back in my freshman year.

The school is a pretty welcoming place. Teachers are very personable. The grading system is rather different, but it helps students strive to be better. Sports programs are available. Not much for art. Music is available.

I like how they treat us like family. They are very nice to us students. The thing I would change is probably the lunch food.
