The principal of Garfield, Mr. Harries, is a GREAT and involved administrator. District and state budget protocols tend to un-ameliorate many urban school populations, seemingly by a war of financial attrition. I attended garfield from K-8th grade and i must say that it is a wondeful school it is full of well detemined teachers that sacrifice to make sure the education is number 1 for the students but you cant always blame the teacher , sometimes its also the student. If the student is not willing to learn...
