GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I have enjoyed my four years of education at Telfair County High School. I have been taught by several excellent teachers. I participated in boys cross country for all four years of high school. I won the Georgia Positive Athlete award for the Middle Georgia region for boys cross country in the 2020-2021 school year. I also won the defensive player of the year award for baseball for all four years of high school. I have gained many friendships over the last four years of high school. I will graduate this month as an Honor Graduate at Telfair County High School.

My favorite thing about TCHS was the band program. It really helped so many kids open up and by your senior year, you had a massive family that will always look out for you.

Ultimately, it's not a bad school. It's very, very , very small and has limited money available for anything. However, I feel like this school uses the money (for the most part) to help students succeed.
