There are great club opportunities and fantastic art programs; however, the Gear Up program did all the college preparation, not the school itself.

During my time at my school there has been plenty of ups and downs. It is relatively easy to find and make friends with all of the groups and activities. For me, it was band. That being said, there have also been plenty of fight which the staff had broken up relatively quickly. My school is nothing special, but it's great just the way it is.

I went in as a senior in high school coming from a different school where I feel I had more opportunities and was being better prepared for college. The teachers were okay but there were a lot more days where we didn't do anything compared to my old school. I had to fight with a principal to be able to take a college class because it went over into a high school class by 30 minutes and had gotten approval from my teach that it would be interfering with and had already come up with a plan to make up the missed class time. Overall it wasn't bad for the one year but I feel if I had been there all four years I would be as prepared as I was when I went into college.
