I loved Lamar, the campus changed me as a person and helped me prepare for the real world when i was not at all ready.

Lamar Academy was very interesting. There are definitely really good things about it as well as really bad or weird things about it. Some of the teachers went above and beyond. Not only by engaging with the class, and forming bonds with students, but actually allowing you to learn. However, other teachers were not the best and would not engage with the class as much. Though there would good and bad things, Lamar Academy is overall a good high school.

Going to Lamar was one the best decisions I made. Because of this school I learned everything I needed from my teachers and they pushed to learn more. Every club at the school was incredible considering most of them were student run. Having made a few club myself, the different communities you meet all under the same school is incredible. There's a lot to learn from this school, its faculty, and students.
