The students are high achievers and push me to excel. There are many opportunities to join clubs and attend organizations. The parents are very involved as it is a small school within a larger school district. The counselors are very active in guiding students. I feel safe and have not witnessed any violence. The work load is high but the majority of student enter knowing this fact so I was not surprised. I have always brought food from home so I cannot judge the food. There is no other high school that I would want to attend. Lamar Academy will help me achieve attending a top tier University.

My experience at Lamar was amazing. i was able to understand things at a much faster pace and got assistant anytime I needed some.

Lamar Academy is a rigorous and academically challenging high school, however it pushes students to be the best. I have learned so many skills from this school, such as speaking and writing skills, and I am very happy to be a part of this community. The environment is great, because everyone pushes each other to be the best they can be, and we all support each other through difficult academic times.
