I enjoyed my time at McAdory High School. The best experience I had is when I won the State Championship in the indoor track 60 meters after coming back from an broken ankle. My coaches and classmates were right by my side when I was in recovery and help me keep my confidence. I ran a 6.84 almost breaking the Alabama State record which was a 6.80. The only thing I would like to see change is the recognition of all the athletes in my school who win State Championships because it is hard.

The best part of Mcadory for me is the student body. The student body has been very kind and uplifting of each other from my own experience. I have had a mostly positive experience and cannot think of anything exceptionally bad about the school.

It is a great school overall although some things are lacking. for example the food could be better. towards the end of the second semester they ran out of food so sometimes we were eating the same thing two maybe three times in a row. also, the building itself isnt in the greatest condition and they definitely need to hire more teachers but, dont get me wrong there are a lot of good things about the school also. for example, there are a lot of activities to do, field trips and also a reasonable amount of sports. the administration does a good job at keeping the students in check maybe a little too good of a job lol.

Everything about this school is terrible. I wouldn’t let any child of mine or a relative go here.
