GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall the school gives you a good experience. I have been here since elementary school. The school is small and everyone has been here since they were children. There are rarely any fights, and that is good considering it to be high school. I hope to see the school grow and develop. More classes come to the school and more options are available.

It's a good experience I just wish we didn't have to wear uniforms. And I wish we had more teachers.

The environment here at McCormick High is one where it feels like your in a family. The teachers all come from deep within generational roots and origins. The staff members here also are mostly mothers and they grow and nurture bonds with the students. The curriculum challenges the students along with myself to test our limits and move beyond that to achieve the grades we have. Now those who strive put in the effort and we now consider ourselves gifted to have the blessing of such great instructors and assisting faculty members.
