GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I began my childhood learnings enrolled at McCurtain Public Schools in 1991. I grew up in a snall town known as McCurtain. with a population of around 500 the school census was roughly 135-160 kids k-12. growing up in a small rural town and attending school waws a pretty cool experience. it allowed everyone know each other on a equal level. My graduating class had 14 people in it. Very very small. As i began my freshman year i enrolled in all elected requirment classes or points classes needed to obtain my Diploma. By the time i was a Junior in high school i had all my required points hours and classes completed. So beginning og my senior year i had one hour required English 2, i chose and selected to be a teachers aid in a 3rd grade learling level, and 4 hours of woodworking shop classes along with my one hour of high school sports, about the 8th grade my love for baskwtball had grew huge, and soon became very good. in a small town its kind of like a celebrity. thank you for ur time.
