My overall experience about Mckinney Boyd Highschool is overall good. The best part of Mckinney Boyd is the teachers, fine arts, and the experiences that are offered. The worst part of Mckinney Boyd would be the cleanliness of the overall school, which is lacking. I have been able to find communities within the school very easily. Their is a lot of school spirit and traditions that help students feel involved within their school.

Overall, McKinney Boyd is a positive school compared to the other McKinney schools. That being said there are still many things that can be improved on, such examples being the food and college readiness programs. The best part of McKinney Boyd for me has been participating in sports and the worst part is the new change in phone policies where student aren't allowed to have their phones in most if not all classes.

It's... it's been kinda insane. It's kind of the rich kid school at McKinney, and the kids are either sweet or pretentious. It's a gamble. Saftey is honestly getting better, but it still isn't great and there are way too many fights and drugs. I have insane stories from this school, like the lobster found in the bathroom in my freshman year. Again, insane is the best way to describe Boyd.

I’ve been very underwhelmed with this high school. I have 2 children attending there and the way they waste their financial resources aka our tax dollars is unbelievable! There are 6! Yes, 6 principals and tons of other useless and unnecessary staff that make way too much money and take those dollar...

absolute hatred for this school. they do not care about students, only a few select teachers actually care about students' well-being. also, teachers cannot respect/understand that students have a job and have to go to that after school and treat them badly
