It is just an elementary school so there are not a lot of extra activities. The facilities themselves are nice and clean. they do not provide bussing. Parental involvement is encouraged among some parents and discouraged among others. It seems as though the same people are invited to participate in activities year after year while many newcomers are excluded.

If it were not for the principal, it would be an excellent school. She has absolutely no leadership skills and will not stand up for the students. She will not participate in difficult discussions with teachers and consistently walks the fence. She has no administrative skills and this is something that is a constant problem. If she were to be transferred, the school would be blessed.

Eddins is the best Elementary School in MISD. Eddins has the lowest number of students and the lowest student/teacher ratio. Resources are plentiful and the teachers and staff are high quality. We've had the most wonderful experience there with all of our children.

We have had an amazing experience so far at Eddins. Great staff and amazing community! Parents are very supportive and involved.

Eddin's has been fabulous for my daughter. This is her second year there and she LOVES it! The teachers are great and really care about the kids. Academically this school shines and I have never seen more parental involvement in any school I have been to!
