We had one child at Basis - everything you've read is accurate - if your kid is a work machine, they'll love it - science and math are top notch, but we also had excellent English and history teachers. The facilities are lacking, the community doesn't exist, and the administration is rigid. The one guidance counselor is a part time employee and probably tells you what you need to know - they aren't there to support or nurture - they are there to drive work like a machine. Our kid actually liked that but a lot were miserable

My kid transferred to BIM last year and she is happy there. What she liked the most is her teachers and school environment. She made new friends in school. The school is strong in academic.

My child is in a lower grade and loves the teachers, activities, and learning. The classrooms and facilities are modern and provide a very good environment. Sports field is lacking, but other extracurriculars like music, art, and performing arts have been great.
