I love the strong sense of community at Madeira, where everyone is familiar with one another, which creates a welcoming atmosphere. However, I find the English curriculum to be quite challenging. Additionally, the science placement process for grades 10 and 11 can be frustrating, because it is largely determined by a student's math performance.

Going to Madeira isn't exactly what I expected. You don't get to have the "American high school experience", you miss out on football games, real school dances, and parties. It honestly was really depressing for me, but I have to admit that I'm grateful for all the resources and connections Madeira provides me with such as the college counseling, co-curriculum, and regular counseling. The campus and buildings are also beautiful so that's a plus.

I graduated from Madeira in 2020, and have very fond memories of my time there. I have nothing negative to say regarding my experience. Sadly, my senior year was the COVID year, so I did miss out on some events that we as students look forward to our senior year, however, there was nothing that the school could do to fix this.

I was very disappointed in picking The Madeira School. I am very surprised by how it is one of the top boarding schools. I will admit the diversity is good, but the system and people there are horrid. Girls tend to slightly throw racial slurs at people of other ethnicities and teachers are unsupport...

While in high school, my daughter attended a summer program here. She loved it! Great teachers! Great cafeteria staff! Unfortunately, the security staff treated us poorly. When my husband and I arrived, we explained our reasoning for entering the campus to the security guard, who looked at us strang...
