The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was a good High School in my opinion. We did need more diversity in culture. Teachers were great & helpful! The food was not so good. I enjoyed my time there.

So far, it has been very enjoyable at the high school. The teachers are really understanding. Only thing I would change is the food

The school is overall great it lacks in some areas but it is still a great school. I think it needs some help in sports and food, I think the teachers I have gotten have been great with teaching and helping the students with everything they would need.

I had three children who attended this school. They were all excellently prepared to attend college. One of my children thinks that some of the teachers at Eastern are much better teachers than those she has encountered in college. That child also thinks several of her high school classes were more...

I am a 17 year old who is behind in math due to disabilty. The math classes are filled with unfriendly students. The only reason people...

I went to Eastern and was continually challenged academically by my teachers on a personal level. In 10th grade, we were reading and deeply analyzing material that other high schools in the county didn't present to students until senior year. Academic competition was tough at Eastern and I feel that...

As far as high schools in Alamance county go, Eastern is going to be one of your best bets. It is probably one of, if not the most safe, clean, and academic high schools in the county. I graduated in 2012 and had a great experience all four years. The community of the school and town make it a great...
