Melvindale is known for being pretty diverse culturally, and a lot of students mention the school spirit and improved facilities after the move to the new building. Academically, it performs around or slightly below the Michigan state average in testing, but its graduation rate is solid at about 84%

It's really the best high school becuase it take care about everything you need and they help tou if you new in the U.S. and if the English is not your first language and im so happy that I study in this school.

Melvindale High School is an overall decent school. It had its fair share of pros and cons, but all students will feel welcome and safe at this school.

As a Former student I didn't like MHS at all some of the teachers didn't teach good they lacked a care for the students, the principle is very mean and doesn't know how to be understanding at all, Melvindale is not a choice to send your child Too much drama and not enough teaching
