I really do love NYHS, although being a small school it has many clubs, electives, sports, and many many opportunities to do whatever it is that you have a passion for. Its academics are well catered to the students needs and the faculty there have a passion for what it is they teach.

Warm and inviting environment with top notch academics. Great programs for Jewish learning for students of all backgrounds. This Jewish high school is the real deal. Best kept academic secret in the greater Seattle area.

I love the small class sizes which provide a safe setting for students to share ideas and grow as learners. Programs such as taking UW classes, taking the PSAT, and college counseling really make this student body strong in academics. The school culture is spirited and exciting. NYHS provides many opportunities that no other school does, for example, trips to AIPAC Policy Conference and March of the Living (senior culmination trip to Poland and Israel).

I am going on a gap year but I got into many good colleges and I'll be attending a p...

I cannot think of a better place for Jewish teens to get prepared for college and life. The teachers are attentive and involved. You cannot get lost in the system. Many of the courses in the upper grades are taught on a college level but that shouldn't scare you. They have teachers who have open lun...
