In the area James buchanan high school is definitely the best for your child because the atmosphere isn't as bad as what it is at chambersburg or greencastle. The safety at Jb is a little questionable but i've made it through so i guess it is good enough.

Tuscarora School District is a nice district in which there is not a lot of violent or threatening incidents compared to surrounding districts with graduating class sizes of 175-200 students

There is harassment at this school, and nothing is done. Several people have went to online school because they would also get bullied/ harassed. This school allows bullying. Many children have come forward about the harassment and tirment that goes on in this school & nothing gets done. This school is unfair and the staff is more of a bully than the students. I have an IEP and most of the teachers don't take that into consideration when teaching. It's not only students with IEPs that don't understand the work. One teacher told my class and I that during the pass period it's to ask...
