Do not send your kids here. They claim to be college prep but the only reason it is is because you have to teach yourself. The faculty is petty and does nothing to help students. It is all about who your parents are or how much money you donate to the school. They violate contracts and do nothing when people meet with them about it. If you want a good education do not go there.

Coming from a background where education means more than just going through high school to obtain a college degree, I can say with absolute certainty Lamar School checks all the boxes. On another side, t balances education with athletics/humanities to create a wholesome experience for all of its students.

I loved the student to teacher ratio. We had small and very personal classes with great teachers who truly cared about not only our success but about us truly learning!

Do not send your child here. The adults are bully’s. They violate contracts and don’t care. They only care about a student if their parents are in the popular circle of adults. The only reason they are college prep is because students have to teach themselves.

I attended Lamar from K-12, and now my daughter is in pre-k. I cannot stress how much she has learned in just a short time, and how wonderful the faculty has been. Best decision ever.
