Overall, This is a good school in a good district. Academics are great. Teachers are too. College Prep could be more hands on- especially for those "Average" kids who need more assistance to create a great essay, college resume and common app.

Calhoun has made my high school expierience completely unforgettable. The faculty and staff are amazing, and the opportunites for clubs, sports, classes, and activities are unmatched.

Calhoun is a great school for those who want to pursue sports, music, theater, and/or high level academics.

Great school with tons to offer the students to keep them engaged and busy. The magnet theater program is among the best in the state and the music ensembles consistently win competitions wherever they go.

I have had two children graduate from this school and both had a fantastic education. Both, they each are now engineers, one is a mechanical engineer, the other is aeronautical engineer. This school provides many activities after school to keep the kids busy. I highly recommend.

Good area and great for a "basic education", but definitely lacking in science and technology. A very artsy school not for the future engineer or geologist, certainly great for any aspiring accountant or businessman.
